I told someone that I should have just not gotten involved with the other neighbors’ lives. I should have just coasted.
They chuckled. They were interested in living in cohousing. What’s the point if you don’t get involved?
True. I’ve heard of some who just stick to the garden club and are happy. Others get involved with the conflict management groups (like me) and find it more difficult. There is room for both but the whole point is to be interweaved.
Maybe it’s finding that perfect balance.
And when is the tipping point? When is it too much? When is all the drama not worth it? That’s what everyone needs to find out on their own or work together to keep the scale at zero.
